Where the listings come from, and why they’re sometimes wrong
No restaurateur asked to be here. That’s why the catalogue is broad, and it’s also why it goes stale.

Eating in Forlì
Forlì sits between the via Emilia and the Apennines, and takes from both.
On the table
- Piadina — here it is folded and taken away, with squacquerone or cured meats;
- Cappelletti in capon broth, which never miss a Christmas;
- Passatelli and tagliatelle al ragù;
- Rabbit in porchetta and grilled mutton among the meat courses.
From the Apennines
Formaggio di Fossa di Sogliano DOP matures underground in tufa pits and is dug out in November: the product that marks the season. Higher up there are chestnuts, mushrooms and truffle.
In the glass
Sangiovese di Romagna and Albana DOCG, with Pagadebit among the local whites.
Opening hours and closing days change. The ones on the listings come from public sources and may be out of date. Where a restaurant confirms tables with us, the availability you see is the real one.
