• Bordatino — a maize-flour soup with black cabbage and beans, of seafaring origin.

• Torta co' bischeri — a rice, chocolate and candied-peel tart with a spiked edge.

The wine

The Colline Pisane of Chianti, Montescudaio, and Sangiovese reds towards Terricciola; it is also a province of farmhouse vin santo.
